Girls Gymnastics
Girls Gymnastics, also known as Women's Artistic Gymnastics, is comprised of four events: Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor. Magic City Gymnastics believes that fundamentals are necessary for safety and proper advancement. Strength and flexibility are required for skill progression and development. Advancement through levels comes through proficiency and consistency. Our developmental classes begin with Recreational Level 1 and go through Level 3, based on USA Gymnastics skill and progression guidelines. Children are advanced to the next level when they have demonstrated proficiency and consistency in the skills taught at their current level. We hold gym-wide evaluations three times each year and are happy to evaluate any student upon request throughout the year. All students enrolled in rec Level 3 in January are invited to try out for our competitive team in May! All Rec Level 3 students are also eligible to join our Team Prep class which prepares them for team tryouts.

This class is designed for gymnasts who have mastered Rec Level 1 or Rec Level 1 Mini with the necessary skills. Gymnasts learn skills on the uneven bars, beam, floor, and vault. Gymnasts work on strength, flexibility, and confidence.

This class is designed for gymnasts who have mastered Rec Level 2. Gymnasts are pushed to the best of their ability while working skills on the uneven bars, beam, floor, and vault. Gymnasts are eligible to try out for one of our competitive programs in the spring.
