Competitive Team

Magic City Gymnastics offers competitive teams in the USA Gymnastics Women’s Developmental Program (DP) and Xcel!   We hold team tryouts in May for teams competing in the following January-April competitive season.

 

Gymnastics is a year-round sport and competitive team requires a year-round commitment.   Our team year runs from June 1 to May 31.   We are proud to have MANY Montana State Team and Individual titles!   We compete in DP levels 3-10 and Xcel Bronze-Saphire, offering an opportunity to meet various goals and needs.   Our lower-level teams typically compete in Montana and other nearby states.   Our levels 6-10 and Platinum-Saphire have opportunities to travel further and experience competition on a more national level.   We have even competed internationally in Cancun, Mexico!

For team girls who really want to go the extra mile, we have a Fast Track program that meets at 6 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.   The first 90 minutes concentrate on strength, conditioning, and flexibility and the last 90 minutes focus on skill development.   Fast Track is a one-of-a-kind program available to all competitive team members, and you will find no equivalent in any other Montana gym.
